Summary

Food is essential fuel for the body, and it is critical to give your body what it needs while batting cancer. You will learn in this lesson about safe food handling and preparation. Safely store and prepare food to help prevent neutropenia.
Apply the four steps of properly handling food to various types of food, including fruits, eggs, and raw meat.
Protect yourself against environmental risks such as insects and sun exposure.
Properly handle food in four steps: clean, separate, cook, and chill.
Successfully prevent sun exposure and prepare for other potential environmental risks.
Recognize risks in your everyday life and take preventative measures.
